# Subera

> Subera is a mobile app (Android and iPhone) that writes captions for videos and audio in 100+ spoken languages, translates subtitles into 100+ languages, burns styled captions into videos, exports SRT, VTT, SBV, TTML/DFXP and TXT, and includes a voice-following teleprompter with an AI script assistant.

Key facts:
- Free to download; captioning is by subscription: Creator: every video you make, videos up to 5 minutes each; Pro: 12 hours of captions a month, videos up to 60 minutes each. Every plan is subject to a fair use policy (one person, one device at a time, no reselling, sharing or bulk processing). Prices are shown in the app in local currency.
- No account needed to start (guest mode); sign in with email, Google or Apple later.
- Speech that mixes English with a language that has its own script (Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Russian and more) can be captioned "as spoken", fully in the native script, or fully in English (Latin) letters.
- The video stays on the phone; only the audio is sent to write captions.

- Accuracy is best with clear speech. Songs, music videos and videos with loud background music or noise are captioned on a best-effort basis and may contain mistakes.
